I heard this quote below at a recent meeting of diocesan parishioners working diligently for the past years to nudge the upstate NY diocese to do the right thing for survivors, loved ones and the faithful in the pews regarding issues and services relating to sexual abuse and it resonated: "They tried to bury us, they didn't know we were seeds" Peace!
He has shown the strength of his arm, He has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly.
